Mr. Brian Elvesæter is a research scientist at the department for Networked Systems and Services. He holds a M.Sc. degree in computer science from the University of Oslo in 2000. He has been doing research and development on model-driven systems engineering, software development methodologies, service-oriented and component-based systems architectures, and interoperability for enterprise applications and software since 2000. His current research focuses on method engineering for software development methods, data-and-platform-as-a-service, and big data and sensor architectures. He has experience from a number of IST projects in FP5, FP6 and FP7, including COMBINE, ATHENA, INTEROP, ELLECTRA-WeB, COIN, SHAPE, NEFFICS, REMICS, DaPaaS and ProaSense.
